Renowned ghazal marvel Jazim Sharma has unveiled his latest creation, the album 'Lafzon ke Darmiyaan'. This musical treasure features four heartfelt ghazals written by respected poets Daag Dehlavi, Nida Fazli, and new poet JP Gangwar.

The album, a harmonious blend of Jazim Sharma's musical talent and soulful voice, pays tribute to the enduring beauty of ghazals. The launch event also saw the release of 'Roshni Ke Phool', a cherished compilation of ghazals by the late poet Nida Fazli.

Esteemed figures from the music industry, including Anup Jalota, Suresh Wadkar, Talat Aziz, Jaspinder Narula, Chandan Das, Ghansham Vaswani, and Bali Brahmbhatt, graced the occasion. They collectively appreciated Jazim Sharma's contribution in keeping this beloved art form relevant for the present generation. 

Jazim expressed his excitement for featuring the verses of contemporary poets, showcasing two enchanting ghazals by the emerging poet JP Gangwar in 'Lafzon Ke Darmiyan'.

The captivating performance by Jazim Sharma complimented by a packed audience is testament to the timeless allure of ghazals.

Director Shoojit Sircar, who is currently shooting in the US for his next project, congratulates and extends his warm wishes to the team of "Sardar Udham" on being conferred with the National Film Awards. The awards ceremony took place this afternoon in Vigyan Bhavan, Delhi.

 

"Sardar Udham" won 5 awards at the 69th National Film Awards *including Best Hindi Feature Film*. The Film celebrates the patriotism and valour of freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh and has received much acclaim and appreciation from audiences across the globe.

After three successful movie premieres and Brad Pitt’s famous red-carpet appearance in a skirt, here’s some more exciting news for fans across the country! The highly anticipated action-comedy movie, Bullet Train, is all set to release in India on 4th August 2022, one day prior to the U.S.!

The movie, helmed by Deadpool 2 director David Leitch, will comprise a stellar ensemble cast with some of the most popular names from Hollywood. With Brad Pitt at the fore, the movie will also star Kissing Booth actor, People’s Choice award winner and Golden Globe award nominee, Joey King along with multiple Primetime Emmy award nominee Brian Tyree Henry, Avengers: Age of Ultron fame Aaron Taylor-Johnson, The Boys fame Karen Fukuhara, Fury fame Logan Lerman among others.

While Brad Pitt returns to the big screen in a starring role for the first time since 2019, Academy award winning actor Sandra Bullock will also be seen making an appearance in Bullet Train. Actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson will also be seen next as Marvel’s Kraven the Hunter.

Some things are always worth the wait, especially if it involves Varun Dhawan in a never seen before avatar! The makers of Bhediya have just unveiled the film’s first look poster along with the release date. 

Shrouded in mystic red, Varun's look makes for quite a spectacular image. The film also stars Kriti Sanon. 

Featuring Hollywood’s premier effects studio Mr. X, the Amar Kaushik directorial is touted to boast of exquisite visual effects.

Mr.X, the award winning effects company, part of Technicolor Creative Studios, is renowned for its stellar creature and environment work in the Oscar nominated “Love and Monsters” as well as the Emmy winning “Vikings”. 

Talking about his collaboration with Mr. X, producer Dinesh Vijan says, “Mr. X has been a pioneer in the industry, having created some of the most spellbinding visual masterpieces of recent movie history. Ever since we conceptualised Bhediya, we knew our film needed the expertise of Mr. X to weave that epic scale”. 

Director Amar Kaushik also chimes in, “Bhediya is a tale filled with awe-inspiring imagery. Each and every member of the cast and crew knew that we were crafting something very special. It’s not just the path breaking VFX; the film is a feast for the eyes in every aspect possible”.

In Bhediya, the makers are creating a breathtaking world through the magic of visual effects. Achieving something this unique does take time, and if sources are to be believed, the team does not want to rush this intricate process. 

The film marks Dhawan’s biggest project to date, and will now hit cinemas on the 25th of November 2022.

With the effects studio behind WandaVision, Mortal Kombat, Hellboy and Ad Astra all set to bring Bhediya to life, looks like a solid big screen bonanza awaits audiences next year.

SPENCER, FILM ON PRINCESS DIANA, TO RELEASE IN INDIA ON 19TH NOVEMBER

 

Impact Films announces the theatrical release of the current year’s one of the most talked-about and highly rated English language films, titled SPENCER by Pablo Larrain across the  Nation on 19th Nov. It features Kristen Stewart in the lead role of Princess Diana and Jack Farthing as Prince Charles, beautifully supported by Sally Hawkins and Timothy Spall.  

Spencer concentrates on three turbulent days in the life of Diana during the Christmas of 1991  where Diana and her family are staying at Sandringham, a well known royal tradition. Over  Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, Diana realises that her marriage is breaking down and doesn’t want to be the future queen. The biopic gives the audience a glimpse into the character of Princess Diana whizzing through many official engagements she attended, a frosty dynamic with the royal family, and plenty of emotional scenes exploring the late Princess’s vulnerability and how she struggled to fit in. 

The film debuted at the Venice Film Festival. It then screened at several renowned film festivals like Toronto, Telluride, New York, etc., before getting released in the United States and the United Kingdom on 5th Nov. It has already emerged as the frontrunner in the upcoming Academy Awards for the Best Actress for Kristen Stewart. It is likely to land nominations in some other categories as well. On playing Diana, Kristen Stewart says,” At that moment, we’re not trying to depict what happened in there, but it is, maybe, an idea of what happened inside of her.” 

Chilean director Pablo Larrain has created several flicks with strong female characters and is known for Oscar-nominated film Jackie. Pablo, who has been fascinated and had been thinking about making a film on this subject for a while, believes, ”Everything our Diana sees is a reflection of her memories, her fears and desires and maybe even her illusions.” 

SPENCER is a biopic that excels in every filmmaking department, including Script by  Steven Knight, Cinematography by World famous Claire Mathon, Costume Designer  Jacqueline Durran, Composer Jonny Greenwood, Makeup & hair design by Wakana Yoshihara and Production Design by Guy Hendrix Dyas. _The actress will be seen doing a face-off with Aditya Roy Kapur as a cop in the Hindi remake of the Tamil Hit Thadam_

Aditya Roy Kapur has created a stir with the recent announcement of joining the Hindi remake of Tamil hit Thadam. Now makers Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani have a brand new addition to the film. The young actress Mrunal Thakur has joined the team as the female lead opposite Aditya Roy Kapur. 

Having various remarkable characters to her name, this will be for the first time the actress will be seen playing a strong-headed cop. Based on true events, this yet to be titled thriller directed by Vardhan Ketkar will go on floors in October this year.

Talking about joining the team, Mrunal shares, "When I heard the story of the film, I instantly knew that I needed to be a part of this film. My character is very intriguing and playing a cop has been on my checklist. This will be a very distinct role from all the characters I have played till now and I am looking forward to audiences watching this one."

Bringing the young actress on board, producer Bhushan Kumar shares, "When Murad Bhai and I were discussing the cop's character, we instantly thought of Mrunal. She has chosen many interesting roles in her films and also stood out with her performances in them. We thought that she would be perfect for this character and we are glad she is equally excited to be a part of this."

Welcoming the new addition to the team, producer Murad Khetani shares, "We wanted someone who has a soft personality but could put on a strong face when needed. During my discussion with Bhushanji, we instantly thought of Mrunal for the role. When we approached her with this character, she was excited and quickly came on board. Sonakshi Sinha and her brother Luv Sinha and Kussh Sinha recently launched House of Creativity (HOC). The online art platform aims to showcase and promote Indian emerging artists. 

 HOC was lately brought on board to create the beautiful wall art at the Mahim beach which was created by Shabbu Painter (Akhlaq Ahmed ). Maharashtra Environment and Tourism minister Aaditya Thackeray was also present for the inaugural.

 Sonakshi Sinha, shared, "Art is very important for our society and we at House of Creativity are glad to associate with BMC for the beautification of Mahim beach. The amazing wall art created by painter Shabbu adds to the visual ascetics. Through this initiative, we want to pay tribute to all the wonderful artists and are hopeful this is just a start for more good work"

Luv Sinha, co-founder of HOC adds, "HOC is very proud to have worked on the beautification program of the Mahim beach. We got in touch with Shabbu painter and brainstormed on the artwork. It was a collaborative effort and we are happy with the way it turned out. At HOC we believe in giving the platform to artists to showcase their talent and we are glad to have achieved it with this project.
