Kishore Bandekar of V K Productions and director Shekhar S Jha received all the guest at the audio release of Hindi film Wedding Anniversary at Sun & Sand Hotel, Juhu. Nana Patekar came specially to release the audio.Music director Abhishek Ray, singers Bhumi Trivedi, Abhinanda Sarkar performed live for media and guest. Shreya Narayan anchored the event and gave details of music and film.Five videos and theatrical trailer was played for the media and guest. Bharat Shah, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Shruti Marathe, Shruti Sharma, Sanket, Shanti Bhushan Roy, Rashid Iqbal and much more came to be part of this audio release. Nana Patekar spoke regarding his character in the film. Zee Music company has the music rights of this film.The film is slated to release on 17th February 2017 all over.

Theater Actor Robin Sohi To Enter Bollywood with Hindi film Raja Abroadiya

Yet another theater import is soon to make a mark in Bollywood with not just one but two films. Robin Sohi who has been an active theater artist will soon see his debut film Ekta release around March. And just soon to the heels of his debut film, the strapping lad has already signed his second film, a rom-com this time called Raja Abroadiya. 

Hailing from Karnal, Haryana, this Sikh Jatt moved to Mumbai 4 years ago with dreams full of Tinseltown and in no time was already doing stage and street shows under the ABSS Theater Group. 

"The actual making of an actor happens while doing theater. I am the actor that I am today only for the theatre shows I did and it has helped me in my movies," says Robin who is pretty excited about Raja Abroadiya. "I start shooting my second film just around the time my debut releases. What better could one ask for?," says Robin excitedly. 

Raja Abroadiya will be shot in India and Germany and Robin can't stop talking about it. "I didn't have to think twice after hearing the script of this film. It's a very interesting rom-com with a unique concept. I couldn't stop laughing during the narration itself. The comic punches are just hilarious and I simply loved the character-sketch of Raja, the role I play."

Well, Robin's excitement seems quite contagious and this sure sounds like a super hit in the making. 

The Film is Produced and Directed by Lakhwinder Shabla, Raja Abroadiya will release under the banner Shabla Films Pvt Ltd. The film will be shot in India and Germany. Raja Abroadiya is a rom com around a rich but less educated boy and poor but highly educated girl, who decide to go abroad by faking a marriage. Music is by Mukhtar Sahota. Story of the film is written by Mani Manjinder Singh whereas Casting is done by Dinesh Sudarshan Soi. The crew which comprises of DOP Ishaan Sharma and Art Director Abhishek Redkar, are all set to start the shoot with a bang on ..

25th edition of the Lakshminarayana Global Music Festival on 13th January at 7 pm at Shanmukhananda hall,King circle, Mumbai

 The festival has been held in 55 cities across 22 countries, and will take place in the USA, UK and Germany as well this year

Recognized worldwide for bringing the best of international musical talents under one roof, showcasing music from every genre – Indian classical to jazz, the Lakshminarayana Global Music Festival (LGMF) will kick off its 25^th edition in Sri Shanmukhananda Hall, on January 13^th, 2017. These concerts will be dedicated to the birth centenary of Lord Yehudi Menuhin, the most prolific violinist of the 20^th century.

Founded by violin legend Dr. L. Subramaniam and Viji Subramaniam, the Lakshminarayana Global Music Festival (LGMF) was launched by Bharat Ratna MS Subbulakshmiin 1992. Since its inception, LGMF has hosted some of the biggest names in the music industry including Lord Yehudi Menuhin,Bismillah Khan,Gangubai Hangal,Pandit Jasraj,George Duke, Stanley Clarke, Al-Jarreau, Steven Seagal and Symphony Orchestras.

LGMF is the only music festival that has been able to showcase talent from around the world and provide a platform for myriad styles of music; it has presented Indian Classical (Carnatic and Hindustani), Jazz, Rock, Western Classical, Orchestral, Indian Folk, Ghazals, Hindi Film music, and different Classical and Folk styles from five different continents.

This year’s edition will begin with an evening of global fusion music, with a lineup of acclaimed international artists with Dr. L. Subramaniam:

·         Vadim Repin (prodigy violinist and recipient of France’s most prestigious musical award, The Victoried’ Honneur for a lifetime’s dedication to music)

·         Svetlana Smolina (hailed by the Los Angeles Times as “an outstanding pianist with a luxuriant tone” and a frequent player on global stages including – Carnegie Hall, Salzburg Festival, and Hollywood Bowl)

·         Audun Sandvik (Norwegian cellist and teacher at the Norwegian Academy of Music, one of Europe’s most prestigious institutes)

This year, in addition to its presence in Bangalore, Mumbai, San Diego, Chicago and New York, the festival will also be held in the UK and Germany for the first time ever.Moreover, music enthusiasts have yet another reason to enjoy the show as it is free for all.
