Music maestro Amit Mishra is going places in Bollywood

After having won a lot of accolades for his music compositions in the past — films like Athithi Tum Kab Jaaoge, Machli Jal Ki Rani Hai and Guest In London (which is slated for release on June 16, 2017), the versatile music maestro Amit Mishra is now working hard on various independent releases and a web series, besides popular TV series like Diya Aur Baati Hum Season 2 (Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji), Khatmal E Ishq, Dafa 420 and Lapataganj.

Amit Mishra has composed for two songs in the movie Guest in London. Incidentally, Amit Mishra, who has also had the proud privilege of composing music for Athithi Tum Kab Jaaoge, has also sung for Guest in London along with Sumeet Anand and Navendu Tripathi, besides writing the lyrics with Navendu Tripathi.

The uniqueness of Amit Mishra's music lies in his innate ability to strike the right chords of fusion: world music with the traditional folk components. He uses the natural dynamics of the song and it's environment to include a variety of sounds, leaving its audience with the 'exact' magical moments and feelings as echoed by the composition. We look forward to his upcoming compositions and wish him our best for the future.

Jon Hamm's distinctive look for his upcoming film ‘Baby Driver’

Best known for his performance as Don Draper in Mad Men, Jon Hamm has also starred in movies like The Town, Sucker Punch, Bridesmaids and Keeping up with the Joneses. He will now be seen in the upcoming movie ‘Baby Driver’.

In Baby Driver, Jon Hamm stars as ‘Buddy’, a ballistic bank robber who hops on a getaway ride with the ‘Baby’ who is Ansel Elgort. “It’s definitely not a musical in the grand MGM tradition, but it’s an important element,” says Hamm. “Music is in 90 percent of the film and drives a big portion of the plot as well.”

Jon Hamm has a very unique and peculiar look in this new movie. This new look was driven by writer and director Edgar Wright who really wanted to play it up. When asked about his makeover for the movie, Jon said, “I don’t know what it’s called. They shave the sides and then you’ve got a mop on top. I’ve basically had a version of the same haircut for the last decade, so when I got this one I was like, Oh Goodness!”

He also said that changing your hairstyle that much does a lot not only for oneself to inform the character but really washes away any previous persona that you had in the minds of the audience.

A talented, young getaway driver (Ansel Elgort) relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. When he meets the girl of his dreams (Lily James), Baby sees a chance to ditch his criminal life and make a clean getaway. But after being coerced into working for a crime boss (Kevin Spacey), he must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom.

Baby Driver is written and directed by Edgar Wright. Along with Jon Hamm, Ansel Elgort, Kevin Spacey, Lily James, Jon Bernthal, Eiza González and Jamie Foxx will also be seen in the movie.

Rajkummar Rao Did 18 Takes Of A CPR Scene For Behen Hogi Teri

Rajkummar Rao, the new age talented artist has been a part of the most talked films in the past few years. But during the shoot of #BehenHogiTeri, Rajkummar Rao had to do 18 retakes for a scene with #KamleshGill. The scene was such that #RajkummarRao had to give CPR to Kamlesh Ji but he couldn’t do the scene without breaking into laughter.In one take, he accidentally kissed Kamlesh Ji and the whole set became quiet and awkward until Kamlesh Ji cracked up herself.

The kiss of life became the highlight of the day on set.

Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar starrer Hindi Medium has received abundance of positive response from the audience in its first week.

The makers of the film decided to throw a party to celebrate the success of the film. Kriti Sanon's special gift for Sushant

Kriti Sanon is a lovely co-star. The pretty actor is very thoughtful and does things straight from the heart. During the prep for the film, Sushant shared how this is the first time he is essaying the role of a Punjabi boy. 

Sushant has featured in interesting films and essayed diverse characters right from making a debut in Kai Po Che, to playing a Bengali detective in Byomkesh Bakshi to essaying the role of M.S Dhoni in his latest outing. However, this is the first time he is going to be a Punjabi boy and is quite looking forward to it.

Kriti made a mental note and next week gifted him a iPod with Punjabi songs. Kriti put together a playlist which he could hear while essaying the character of Shiv. The playlist had a lot of Punjabi Bollywood songs and also had some Punjabi folk songs.

Sushant was all smiles with her sweet gesture.

Kriti and Sushant have a lot of things in common. They both come from Delhi. They went to the same college. They made it big in the industry on their own and now they have a common playlist of songs.

Kriti shares "I am a Punjabi and love Punjabis songs. I added some tracks to my Punjabi playlist and gave it to Sushant. Just thought it would help him get into the "Amritsar da munda" zone".

Behen Hogi Teri's Song Tera Hoke Rahoon launched by Rajkummar Rao and Gulshan Grover

 

The cast of Behen Hogi Teri including Rajkummar Rao, Gulshan Grover, Herry Tangri joined by producer Amul Vikas Mohan and Director Ajay K Pannalal launched the most romantic number of the season 'Tera Hoke Rahoon' which is sung by Arijit Singh in the film.

The event also included live performances of other songs of the film by J.A.M. 8, Rishi Rich, Amjad NadeemAmjad-Nadeem and a stand-up comedy gig by the host and comedian Gaurav Kapoor.

Sushant starts Raabta promotions, where shooting ended - Amritsar

Sushant shot for the last schedule of Raabta  in Amritsar early this year (2017).The talented actor shot for a high energy peppy song, Saada Move which showcases famous spots of Amritsar. The song also encapsulates the vibe and culture of the city beautifully.

The shoot of the song was done a guerrilla style where Sushant is captured in fields, on the top of buses, riding cycle rickshaws etc. The song is high on energy and very catchy.

Says Sushant "Dinesh wanted this song to have the vibe of the city and so we decided to shoot it at real locations. We figured that the trick is that before even one person realises you have to shoot and leave the spot. Everything had to be very well planned. It was challenging but a lot of fun." 

Saada Move is a song featuring Sushant alone. It his introductory song and so, Kriti was not present during the shoot of this song. Now that the duo is going to kick start promotions, by mere coincidence the first city they have visited is Amritsar.

Sushant is taking Kriti around to places and making her experience the flavour of Amritsar - first hand. The duo visited a Dhaba and had sugar cane juice. They also interacted a few locals.

Raabta starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon and Jim Sarbh marks the debut of Dinesh Vijan as a director. Produced by  Dinesh Vijan, Bhushan Kumar and Homi Adajania the film is set to release on 9th June.
